Quote from garph :.....how do you manage the frustration, annoyance and even anger? Is it just time, age or is it even relative to a post count or general forum experience?

I've been around LFS since the first demo came out in August 2002, and reading LFS forums (on RSC and then here) since then, and my solution is to never visit the improvement section, and to be very selective about what I read in the general forum! I used to frequent a number of the subsections, now I just come on and spend 10 minutes here looking for interesting stuff.

Meh good advice I also do the same as I do when looking for a good race, look for those that I've had positive experiences with previously
So for me that means when I skim the forums I look for people who have posted that I know and respect and if I do venture into threads that I know will be less than good I don't take it too seriously
Quote from mrodgers :Hmmm, why not beat the meat AND go on a killing spree?

my method of choice is to go on a killing spree while beating the meat
My weapon of choice is to use my meat to beat others, thus (somewhat literally) killing two birds with one stone.
