Hi, I have been a fool.
I bought my S2 license last week and have unlocked LFS on 2 PCs on my network. One for me and one on my kids PC.
Yesterday I locked the game to play on a Demo server that I have been playing on for months I then changed back to S2.
Here is the foolish bit, I did the same again today and when I went back to play S2 I got the message that I had used all the unlocks for this week.
I did not realise that the license worked like this as I have regularly played an S2 racer on the demo server.
Is there a way to get a further unlock for this week or do I just have to wait until Friday?
Then, once I have unlocked again, is there a way to race on demo servers without locking the game again?

You'll have to wait until next Friday to get new unlocks. If you want to play on Demo servers, just select 'Demo' instead of 'S2' when you click on Multiplayer

If you have it on another PC (Even better if it's networked) just copy the one that is unlocked to S2 to your machine.

Btw, you don' have to lock S2 to play on demo, you just click for the server list and on the tab at the top change it from "S2" to "Demo".

Firstly - if you go here and write a small sobstory about it, i'm sure the army of "LFS Tech" (aka Geraldine) will help.

Secondly - when you click multiplayer, you have the option of "Display Server List" and "Join Specific Game", look above that to the left and theres "Demo", "S1" and "S2", select "Demo" and then click then you can join Demo hosts without needing to lock LFS!

When I upgraded pc's, I put my LFS and stuff onto a CD and copied it onto my new pc, I didn't have to unlock anything.

Agreed. If you just reinstalled the OS, then it shouldn't lock, but if you changed hardware, then it should of.

I guess he bought 2 identical computers from teh shop.

For someone who seems as intelligent as yourself, how the hell could I call buying the exact same computer I had before an upgrade?

I wasn't bothered if it's supposed to work or not, I had unlocks available anyway, but didn't have to use them.

I thought about that after pushing Submit Reply, but didn't bother deleting it anymore.
