You can't remove XRT just because of newbies getting crashed with it.

I love Demo LFS - Though you have to choose good servers carefully or even make a private one only with good drivers or people you know quite well and aren't crashers.

having three cars and only one that actually looks more like a car (xrt) Is a bit better. 'cause then you're actually forced to learn the only track and the car you're driving - you're not shifting between 'em everysingle day. And S2 gives maybe too much choice (well to me) It's hard to get hooked up on a car or on a track because all of em sucks and I really like blackwood. Seeing everyday your improvement - even if it is milliseconds makes you want to play it.

It would be fun to have LX4 as another car on Demo - though I'd be still driving the XRT anyway until I achieve 1:24 =]

XRT - LX4 and maybe XRR are my favorite cars in LFS (but mostly XRT)

If the devs were going to do that they could make the demo with the LX in it and charge a small fee like 3 quid or something and if the demo users like it they can upgrade to S2 full and the 3 quid will be knocked off the price.

Actually, thats a really good idea. I've never heard of any developer doing this with their demos, maybe they've missed a trick !

A lot of demo drivers especially the younger ones complain they cant afford the full price in one go, but if you let them buy it bit by bit (almost like HP) car by car or track by track. After all, we pay for the S2 licence to use them all, so why not pay for a single car licence or track permit. It would'nt take too long to reach the £24 and then convert to the full version.

This might get away from the problem of the demo drivers only ever being demo drivers and never paying for anything. With a little bit of temptation they may stick their hand in their pocket and at least say thanks to the devs for all the hard work and generosity they've shown, even if it is only a few quid.

There's a lot to learn for the younger ones - no need for 'em to be rushing to get full LFS - S2. They will just 'cause more problems in S2 by driving a fricking fast XRR's when not knowing how to steer XRT.... Just an idea

Give the demo users an LX2 or LX3.

I think something like a one day license would work well. For example a registred demo user would get a license code with which he could play the full content of LFS but only for a one day or maybe just for a few hours (3-4 or so).

The code could be given only after 10 000km in demo (for avoiding lot's of new registred users which would like to use the code again and again). The code could be given after every 10 000km in demo. I don't think that many people would like to play demo again after playing the real LFS with the whole community.

How do you guys like my idea?

Of my view point, some Demon Racers has money to mount a mega computer, to have a very fast Internet, but not have money to buy s2 license that it is only $24 ($40~$50), that it is less of the half of invests prices in other things that I cited. Huh. The excuse "i dont have money" does not exist. I not work, I not make nothing in my life, but I asked for a parent to buy to me. It was not difficult.

Really like LFS? Buy it.

If you dont have enough money to buy a licence thats bad luck. Enjoy the demo then which already has plenty of content.

Life isn't fair, you can't have luxury items you don't need to stay alive for free. It's not how it works. No money, no game. Simple really.
