You need to calm down. This is what the server name stealer person was trying to do, annoy people and get attention and seems like he has been succesful in doing that. Just act calmly and maturely now. Put a notice on your website that the server 4 is not run by you and don't give this guy any more attention and the problem will eventually sort itself out.

i have an idea that might stop this and its not all that hard i dont think...make it so if you want to run a dedi server you have to maybe register somewhere or get a user and pass like you do when buying S2.but except when you get a dedi 1 its free.this way if people did decide to make "fake servers" then they could be traced and made to stop.only and idea remember

I'm not GOING to run the servers, it was just an example.

It was just another reason, why there should be some kind of way to authenticate server prefix, that has to be allowed by the dev's first.

The least you could do is make a new thread in the improvement suggestions section about some type of copyrighted, or tags that only server owners can use.

In this case, you'd administrate the tag [LTC], and the only way someone could make a false server, it would have to contain a fake LTC tag like {LTC} or otherwise.

There really needs something to be sorted about this, its getting rediculous.

The person talking as "host" under the console, is saying that "soon LTC will be off the map, i will own all of the server names".

We had that problem in the past 2. Some funny guys (who got banned from our servers for acting like nazis etc.) opened servers called "Oval Munkies" instead of "Oval Junkies". Same colours and all that. After a few days they closed the server because it was empty all the time. Same will happen to this one, believe me. Ban that guy from your servers that´s what i would do.

And don´t listen to that Trademark-BS you can read here. Also the critics about the amount of servers you are running. There are always the same lil´CENSORED who gets into posts and spam there silly opinions.
