They are very rich already and selling there best driver which they have had on the books for 10+ years sounds like crap to me.

Here's an article I found, RD gives Alonso a go to leave the team at the end of the season if he wants.

no way in hell will Mclaren give up Hamilton. Though I wouldn't be surprised if Alonso leaves the team
