My favorite is the 1966 427 Shelby Cobra because my dad built a replica with his friend and i've been around it since i was born. It's a frighteningly fast car and i actually had my first drive in it last week. Two words, RAW POWER.

Favourite of everything: '67 Mini Cooper S. Dad owned several Minis when I was little and one was an ex-racer, perfect for the tight hills roads around where we lived (he was fond of out-cornering V8s and always laughed when they caught him on a straight, only to be left behind again at the next corner). He sold his last one before I was old enough to drive though I forgave him when got me a BMX

My favourite car is probably some sort of super Seven. I just love them, little tinny boxes of fun. If I was ever to buy a car (it's looking unlikely) purely for car reasons, that's what I'd want.

Favourites from being a kid: The 1375cc mini (my cousin had one - her boyfriend bought it for her), Jag XJS (saw a mint-looking green/cream leather interior one for sale for £4000 at the weekend - tempting!), Jag Mk2 (my first proper girlfriend's dad had one - it was ace), and the Lotus Esprit. I might have to add the E-type, just because it's a design classic.

I seem quite nationalistic with my choices, but I'm sure it must be subconscious!

The fact of the matter is that we tend to sound quite in real life then from any recorded voice. There are a myriad of reasons for this. For instance, if sound is digitally recorded it depends on the sampling frequency. And how the sound actually comes out through a speaker is dependent on the fidelity of the system i.e. flatness of the frequency response in its passband and specifically at around 1-3.5kHz region where the harmonics of typical human voices reside. Then of course there is also the matter of some human operator messing with the equalizer...

The fact of the matter is that is male and female voices were analytically compared via frequency spectrum analysis i.e. FFT (Fast Fourier Transform) they aren't THAT different. It is just that human auditory systems are designed to be particularly sensitive in that frequency spectrum and any discrepancies would be more easily noticed.

I will have to agree on those 3 car's. Mini is just a classic and my dad used to compete in UK rally's in it so soft spot for it. Lotus esprit is a nice car only ever been passenger though and Uncle just bought an e type but yet to go in it.

I would also have to add a Nissan Skyline R33 GTR. Yes yes I know very boring choice but it is the best skyline IMO.

I also think the Jaguar XJ220 is still one of the sexiest looking cars in the world.

My favorite car is the koenigsegg, although I think I want to get a fat hairdresser's car for my first car.

Mine is the Mk3 Ford Fiesta Flight in Silver

I can't pick one, but they range anywhere from the 1968 Lotus 49B and 1978 Lotus 79 (in JPS colours :P) to the 2006 Dodge Viper coupe, Ferrari F430, BMW M1, 2003 Pescarolo-Courage C60 to the Shelby Daytona Coupe.... All across the board, race cars and street cars alike.

Currently hankering after a Dallara F398 - F301 (maybe for 2009 season). But I'm happy with my Stratos. A Miura would be nice. As long as it's not designed for going to the shops, made in France or Germany, and doesn't have driver aids then I might like it. I liked the Koenigsegg until they put that silly wing on it.

First, favorite vehicles I have driven myself, would be my old 1989 Toyota pickup truck. The engine was indestructible, probably one of the most reliable engines built. Also, not everything is about speed. With the right modifications, for under $7000, I could climb a 60 degree incline while walking beside the truck. It would be the ultimate road legal camping vehicle.

Dreaming? I long for a 1966 Shelby Cobra 427SC. It would be the first car I purchased if I ran into near unlimited money.... If I could find an original one. If not, I would settle for an exact replica. My uncle almost bought one in 1966. He had the cash in hand 3 times and all 3 times they upped the price on him until he told them to blow it out their.......

I don't know what my favorite would be other than that. If I had the money, I simply don't like all the fancy technology of today's world and prefer simplicity. I would buy something like an old Datsun 240Z and set it up for track running. I too think the Saleen S7 is quite a sexy car, but I'm thinking realistically and would choose a car that I could enjoy on the public roads as well as the track. Something like a Saleen would be trashed half a mile from my home if I drove it on public roads. Thus I would go with old school and restore, rebuild, and build up to what I wanted.

My favourite car is an Aston Martin DB9, second to that would be the Aston Martin V8 (the older one). Both are stunning vehicles and look great

RWD with square design hits the spot.

But Quattro Coupe with rally spec was quite nice too, however would prefer something bit more practical, below 300hp and RWD, fast steering and less than or about 1000kg weight is what I'm planning to do from one of my cars, however time will show when that will happen.

I think my favorite has to be Dodge Viper GTS, thats one hell of a nice car

Anyway, tho I never race it, I like XRR the most. Because it`s the best looking car in LFS in my oppinion, get a good skin on it and it looks like a real racing car, and is like one too!

Ok i think its time to reveal my favorite and its the ferrarie F50 ever since i was alil boy i just fel in live whit the styling when i saw it driving in my home town, i was speechless i just lokked at those beatyfull hand made itailian curves and heard the enigine en i was amedeatly in a trance

Mine, I don't really know, my first favorite car was the 1996 Viper GTS, hence my username.

Some classics I'd love would be an Aston Martin DB5, 6 Cylinder Jag E-Type, Classic Mini, maybe an old Austin Healey Sprite. I guess I like old British cars and new German cars..

for me its the bmw e30 m3 evoII , god like proformance , Extremly rare and will beat most any car stock , even today.

they only made 500 of both the evo I & II so it could race in the DTM

you can buy one for roughly 20,000 but in top condition 30,000+

id have no truble paying that kinda money for one of the most under rated cars ever made
