Okay, it might not help that I didn't understand a word from the topic post.

Sauce ?

Bet he made some chips and realised he had none.
Who hasn't read the first post then?

Android - "Alonso leaves the kettle on and goes down Tescos". It's a joke to make you get all excited, then dash you down when you read the post body.

Feels odd explaining humour to an Austrian. Oh, no wait....

Tee hee, only kidding matey
Pff, well you know, I still don't understand what "leaves the kettle on" and "goes down Tescos" means. I guess Tescos is some sort of store or restaurant? Even then the grammar stinks
He's staying!? Ah CRAP!!!
Quote from AndroidXP :Even then the grammar stinks

Hes from Kazakhstan, English isnt his first language.
Neither is mine.
He's from Northampton

leaves the kettle on = turns his kettle on and does something else. A kettle is something you boil water in.

goes down tescos = goes to his local supermarket.
Ah okay, that makes more sense. However, isn't the goes down XX missing a "to" ? Whatever, the joke's been ruined anyway
I know that hes from the UK, hence the "".
I left my computer on and went to Morrisons, can I have a thread too?

no because that wouldnt be very funny would it...?

Dropping the "to" is a habit of those who didn't get much past secondary school. i.e. People from 'up north'.
