I think craftsmanship is pretty large bit higher level in east, there is many cars that look factory built even they are built by individuals. I guess people in west are too lazy

Why it is a waste? It will move that thing faster than some supra or skyline because of less weight...

In some show I saw ages ago, might have been Top Gear because it was on BBC world, they took someones Lada and went for Lotus to tune it. It came out nice I think. Can anyone remember seeing something like that?

I guess gears would not fit otherwise so they have put them in different order than normally, don't know anything from that box used in those, but that is common thing in those that gears are differently placed.
