The online racing simulator
Quote from Jakg :Currently it's been relocated to the MyCTRA site.

And where in there it is?
Oh sorry, have they removed it from the insim list?
Before you simply could do it while racing, didn`t know they had changed that, sorry.
You can still raise a report and file it into your personal archive whilst in game. The only thing we've removed is the ability to submit the report whilst on the server, for that you have to go to your MyCTRA page. We did this to stop 'snap' reporting.

At the moment it's not very clear that the report isn't submitted, it's a temporary solution. We'll make it clearer in game soon.

I understand I can't submit now?
Quote from PLAYLIFE :I understand I can't submit now?

Yes you can. File the report from the LFS server; it will be stored but not submitted to CTRA admins. Then go to the myCTRA page on the website, and submit it from there.
Just to clear up the point percent bar system for those wondering.
3 points is one percent.
One bar in game is 5.5 percent or 16.5 points.

So you need 300 points for each licence stage.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
Eh...You are VERY wrong.

You dont need the same amount of points for every licence. The points needed increase as the licences go higher.

I have no idea where you got that theory.

Lol, so wrong... If that theory was true I would already be at Silver, and I'm not even half way.
I've disappeared from the rankings for some reason. Have 416 points in single seater but am not listed.

EDIT: I see - I'm not allowed to use Gentle Foot as my name.
Ack.. afraid not. Becky and I drew some basic shapes in the sand, over a few pina coladas while we were shaping the X-System, way back when. One of the things we both very much agreed on was that we had a very strong desire to make the X-System a *professional* racing environment and licencing system. Both. Using real first and last names is fundamental to this.

We aren't requiring that people use their absolutely real first and last names - we know that this is the internet, and that there are young people using the system. You can put in any name you want, but we require *real looking* names.

If you're REALLY worried about your (or your child's) identity being revealed through the system, simply don't include first and/or last names. Our system will recognise this, and will not expose your participation on the home-page or licence listings. By special arrangement, we can also prevent your licence information being shown using the licence look-up too.

At the moment, we're not culling single-letter first or last names (we're culling them when people use single letters for both) but "Andy B." we're letting slide for now, and "A. Watson", but not "A. Nother" and not "A N" etc. Long-term, though, we'd like to bring the system up to a fully professional standard, and this will result in single-letter First and Last names being dropped from the results listings.

Lol, my bad.
Well it I have 268 points on my CTRA License which is 89%.
I also have 64 points on Single Seater which is 21%.
Both correspond to a 3 point per percent system. As I'm so low in points and licenses, I wasn't aware that the points required increase.

Thanks for correcting me. However, my theory still stands for going for bronze and Nat'l B
Not that it matters to me as I race the CTRA servers purely for fun and a challange but I believe it would be usefull to release a official chart explaining the point system as I see no reason to keep it secret or a riddle.
Yes, thats because you are on the lowest licences.

For going from Platinum to Titanium, you need more than 35.000 points, AFAIK.
As others pointed out to me above, it's not really that secretive. The licence ranking pages give a pretty good idea as to which licence requires how many points.

CTRA race:
Bronze=300pts
Silver=1,300pts
Gold=4,300pts
Platinum=12,300pts
Titanium=anywhere between 50,000 and 50,500 pts (wild guess: 50,300pts)

SS Licence:
NatB=300pts
NatA=between 1,300 and 1,500pts, but probably 1,300pts
As National A is the highest anyone has, yet, everything above is pure guess-work, but I'd guess it's 4,300 for Interntl. B and 12,300 for Interntl. A.

Feel free to delete the figures, if it's against the spirit of CTRA to post these here.
You forgot Bump and Jump. :hide:
Let me guess:

Yellow Roof=294pts
Blue Roof=1,297pts
Red Roof=4,396pts

Am I close?
I have no idea what number it is exactly, tbh. I forgot how much points I had when I advanced.
Quote from Linsen :Silver=1,300pts

I think this will be more like 1,500pts. I've got 701 and am only 40% underway so... 300 pts for Bronze is correct, can't judge about the others as I haven't reached those yet

Have a look here .

Dude, basic maths:

700-300=400

if 400 = 40%, then 1000 = 100%,

Then:

300+1000=1300 for next licence
Hmm... You're right. Math was always my worst subject in school I just forgot to subtract the 300 points for Bronze.

37,700 points iirc
Quote from Jakg :37,700 points iirc

What makes you guys think that?

LordBlaster has 49,424pts and is platinum. Next up is NIKI with 50,538, and his licence is Titanium. So, as I wrote before:

Quote : Titanium=anywhere between 50,000 and 50,500 pts (wild guess: 50,300pts)

That'd be because the discussion between Zeug and Jack was about the points difference, not the points total, which is 50,000 . There is another licence at 75,000 btw - but atm is only supports on the web side not in the software (I guess I might change that if somebody gets close).
