Need help identifying the car in the photos below, which was on display at a local vintage car show this weekend. The placard under the windshield read '1966 Repco Brabham' and included some details about which series it ran in which I can't recall. It is not an F1 car and the placard did not claim it was. The badge on the nose also reads 'Repco Brabham'.

Any ideas?

Looks a little bit like a BT23C, but without seeing the engine detail it's hard to be sure.

There's a lot to pick from in that era, so could be a few from http://www.race-cars.com/utility/brabhamr.htm

EDIT: it's not the 23 because of the age, but it's a similar style

Looks like a BT23, but I think it's a BT18 or 21, which were 1966 Formula 2 cars. Jochen Rindt, Jack Brabham himself and others drove for the marque that year.

Edit: The 21 was an F3 car actually, so it's not this. I'd say it's a BT23 and they've got the dates wrong.

Simply going on looks I think Tristan is right and the date is wrong it clearly isn't an 18 or an F3 car.

Thanks guys. It's a bit of a toss-up between a BT21 (http://www.autoextremist.com/r ... 4/Group4/big/DSCN7767.jpg) and a BT23C (http://www.autoextremist.com/r ... 4/Group4/big/DSCN7757.jpg) but on the whole, I remember the car looking more like the BT23C . Next time, I'll try to remember to take a photo of the placards for each of the cars to keep things straight.
