Is there a way to password protect the "Administrator" account? I don't understand why Microsoft even bothered to implement passwords, if you can just boot into safe mode and do anything you want.

iirc you need to log on for safe mode and windows promts for a admin pw during installation

start in safemode, that will allow you to pick admin account, also protect guest account too, even if off,

select Command Prompt(run>cmd). Once you have the black command prompt window open you will type the following:

net user guest <password>
