wat do u guys think of the Logitech WingMan Extreme Digital 3D Joystick for a H-shifter?

its got:
8-way hat switch
7 programmable buttons
Rotary throttle
Rudder (including motion lock)
USB or 15-pin game port connection
is this good for a H shifter?
Why is FF so inportant???

The only thing that is important is the FF. This is because you can use the program called FFShifter that operates the FF simulating a gear shifter. If the joystick hasn´t got FF, you would have to made some hand work for making the shifter stay at the gears, because a joystick always return to the center.

Oh there are some ideas for make the joystick doesn´t back to the centre, and if you make this, you should use Virtual H Shifter instead of FFShifter. It works fine, the diference is that you have to do that the shifter stays at the gears. If you know how to do this, there is no problem on using a Extreme for shifter.
