The online racing simulator
Even though it was a short stint for me, I enjoyed the 8 laps. starting 12th, and ending up 6th, before retiring. I wasn't feeling well, and was getting really dizzy. Had too much screen time all day yesterday.

Congrats to everyone that took part though.
I'd like to offer my thanks and gratitude to all of the ATC and DBP drivers who wore a memorial skin for my g/f's mum who died last week. I haven't even spoken to some of the DBP team yet you guys all wore the skin and it was absolutely stunning to see them all at the starting grid. Major respect goes out to all you guys.
ok stoney... if you want to go that way, Fine... i really dont need to say anything more because its pretty clear what happened.

This ain't oval. You aren't racing you teammates.
"cooperative".
Come on.... in a race track? this isn't ballet or side drifting.
You hit the corner in a totally unrealistic way just in order to be almost at my side. That isn't winning the corner. Doing that when you don't know how i drive is pretty crazy too.

Free space inside me doesn't mean you can go there. Some corner trajectories being 200 meters behind, others only 50mt.

What about hotlap lines??? the fastest route around the corner is a hotlap line. I did them for 60 laps in practice with the same tires. Come shake my hand.
I only couldn't do it in the race because you punched my rear and the way out was either powersteer (bye bye tires) or cause a big accident for standing still in the racing line. You caused that.

Hows this for a generic ending...
didn't know about that rogue. Sorry to hear.....
Stuff like that makes everything else rather pointless. We should enjoy things, not fight them. enough for me about this crappy discussion. I'm going to see racing videos. wanna join me stoney.

cheers
Quote from Skinny :Bah I was running R4's to make them last the full race too. I did some practice earlier today and was hitting low 1:23's lap after lap on R4's so it seemed a good tactic.

Everything was going pretty well until my PC had a wobbler on lap 26 or something and I had to do a cold reset. Pisser

I always down clock my cpu and ram to keep it stable *enough

lol
happened to me at the start of OLFS one time.... now i prefer to miss 5 fps and keep it stable.
It's only ever had issues with live for speed. I'm averaging 300fps so it's not like the game is stressing it lol. It's since been rebuilt so fingers crossed
dammm…

it cannot appear in the race because I was to leave with my parents and I did not arrive in time of the race …....I was sad due that had trained very for this race… walked to make 1:21:40 on average of r2…......but mine better it is 1:21:06 of UFR … of r3 still I trained walked for 1:22:basses….

It is well for the next one

spyshagg congrats for 3º place .

"Congrats dadge for 1ºplace" :eclipsee_

300? damn

i dont really know mine because i lock them at 60fps (60hz tft).. but it dips sometimes with many cars. I'm running 1280x1024 4xfsaa 4x aniso with GS7800 and a64 3000+ at 2550mhz.

whats your specs ?

thanks luis i had fun with dadge at the end but my head hurted like hell during the qualy and most of the race. I didn't even go below 1.21.xx loll ..so bad.
Spec list? Ok you asked for it

Asus P5N32-E SLi 680i mobo
Core 2 Duo 6300 (Oc'd to 3.1gig )
2GB Geil PC6400 Ulta Low Latency RAM
BFG 8800GTX OC 768MB
BFG Ageia PhysX Accelerator
WD Raptor Hard Drive
OCZ GameXStream 600W PSU
Creative X-Fi Platinum Fatal1ty

Plus a few other odds and sods - nice way to blast around £1300

I run every game at max detail at 1280x1024 with 4x AA and 8x AS filtering, all graphic card options set to highest quality.

Like I say, it laughs at everything I throw at it and it's past 24hours of benchmarking with programs such as Prime95 so it's stable as hell, not sure why it fluffed on LFS? Still, should be ok now
ahh another overclocker like me!!
Nice rig... really.
Everything stable but games crashing is the typical "something is wrong with my overclocking"

you run two instances of Prime, right? one for each core.
Prime doesn't go through the Pci-e bus... you have that frequency locked? gtx may be failing because of that...

Prime also isn't the most sensitive one to errors... Try two instances of hexus_pifast while Ati_tools is running the burning thing. Max load on the psu!
Loading 3d application should bump another 100watts or so onto that Psu and lots of amps...
600watts psu sounds good but provides at most 80% of that value on a cold day...

Prime is cool for those who go for max cpu speed for cpu benches.... When running 3D apps its like obligatory to under-clock the cpu a bit

Then again an unstable gfx card or cpu usually crash games like COD of mohaa preeettty easily (opengl)... When i mean cpu i'm also refering to Ram/timmings.
I found LFS to be very cpu sensitive too... it crashes pretty easily too.
Erm. Sorry i didn't turn up guys, It's MOT time for my mates '74 Granada Coupe with a 24v Cossie lump.

I'll have to check out the replay and catch up a bit on the action.
