I don't understand, theres no practicality to Diamonds whatsoever (other than cutting metal, and exsisting as a strong material)

Its not like stitching Diamonds to piece of fabric JUST to accomodate the diamonds, when no practicality is being practiced, I can only understand the use of Diamonds for wedding rings, as a sign that the love you give is as strong as a Diamond, but even then, Diamonds are for people whos teeth shine just as much as one.

As being an old married fart, I can't even agree to this. Nothing says "I love you, will you go into debt with me until our 15th anniversary" than these ridiculous diamonds that women get. The whole "will you marry me" thing with diamonds, the wedding, and everything else is such a waste of money. It's been ten years now, and I'm still trying to recover and failing miserably. Marriage is why I saved for 2 years for my cheapo $50 graphics card. Imagine how long I'll be out of sim racing when my Momo finally quits and I need to save up for the G25!
