Thrustmaster Force Feedback Ferrari Racing Wheel
Hello,i have gamepad(dual shock, like ps2 one) and today im going to buy Thrustmaster Force Feedback Ferrari Racing Wheel ,is it good for drifting?for regular races?and one more question is it possible to do somehow to use clutch instead of brake,by making one action button work as a clutch and pedal as brake, but if you dont push that button pedal work as a clutch,is it possible?
I had one of those before I got my Momo, and it's a good wheel with plenty of buttons.
I wouldnt know if you can change between clutch and brake with a button. Maybe if you use some program to map the axes.
I had this wheel for an year until one of the paddles physically broke. Then I got a MOMO and I should say - it's a lot better (although it doesn't have a Ferrari logo ).
Generally,
Thrustmaster compared to MOMO:
+ lots of buttons
+ (imho) slightly larger wheel
- not that reliable, MOMO looks more solid, and I'm sure will not brake in an year's time
- had initial problems setting it up, different drivers worked for different games, then somehow worked that around. Generally MOMO is more common and works plug'n'play in most games, which is not the case with Thrustmaster.
- Most of the wheel's surface is plastic, whereas MOMO is made of rubber which feels better.
Is it 180 degree and is it enough for beginner at lfs?
if you can afford the extra $$$ think about a driving force pro, even if getting a 2nd hand one from ebay like I did its 900 degree turning and an excellent wheel....
