Or just remove the damage display - then you won't know. If it drives fine it is fine, if it drives badly it's borked. Simple.
Quote from PRMLSCRM :if there isn't none its because there is some. ANY doubt?

Now your just trying to confuse me Uhmm, which isn't difficult, I appear to be getting dumberer by the day Shrug

Quote from MyBoss :Noticed this many times. Some times it even happends the other way round. Crashing, looking at the damage tingy where it states that the car is heavily damaged, but I still can drive like nothing happened.

I hope the damage detection gets a work before S2 final.

I agree. I've put at least 48+ hours in the FOX in the past week and a half (my wife hates me Big grin) and I've crashed just about every way imaginable into South City's Armco barriers. I have had instances where I barely clipped a wall and my car was all over the place while the damage was displayed between negligible and non-existent. I have had other instances where I have almost completely trashed one side or smashed the nose as flat as a pancake and the car behaved like nothing happened at all. I guess I just need to use my brakes more and stop clipping walls. Smile

IMO the most difficult-to-deal-with damage on the FOX is even the slightest amount of toe-in on one of the rear wheels - it can look like nothing on the damage display and still spin you at every corner.

And the most irritating one is when the front wing scrapes on the ground. Can't take corners for understeer, can't take straights either because of "wing braking". Big grin
Quote from danowat :I have been playing LFS for nigh on 5 years, and I didn't realise that you could get damage without it showing on the F9 screen!!!!!

You obviously need another five years cause F9 be tyres mate! F10 be the suspension, or dumptin? Razz
It all gets clear when you take a closer look at the F10 display... You got one or two bars (depending on whether the car has single or double wishbones) to show you how much the wishbones are bent inwards, one for toe to show you how out of place the alignment is and one vertical to show you how damaged the springs are... There is nothing to tell you how displaced the wheel is in 3D... It can be bent forwards, backwards and you couldn't tell on the straight... Going into a corner however, all hell brakes loose and leaves you thinking "WT..." before you kiss the armco...

I never really use the damage screen, i can just tell if my car is dead or not. Though i suppose it may be a good guage for some people.

I for one wouldn't shed a tear if it gets removed... I can tell soon enough anyway when there is a problem... Big grin
F10 only shows damage to your suspension. If the wing e.g. is bend so it touches the ground, this also screws your balance and ability to brake correctly, as your car cant "dive" anymore. Simple as that Wink
