"wrong Way"
I've notest that my LFS doesn't always display the "WRONG WAY" message when it should... It does that sometimes when I'm connected to a popular server, as I'm driving online by a modem connection, and the game lags anyvay... This one day I was driving the wrong way and didn't realise it, and I crashed with the others and got banned from the server Sorry for the ones involved...
Ive noticed the wrong way message is not displayed when going the wrong way in reverse.
sometimes you will just get the warning beep instead of it flashing wrong way. when i 1st started playing s2, on a few occasions i almost came out the pits the worng way and got no warning
I always take a look at the track map before leaving the pits, specially for the new S2 tracks, you can figure out easily wich way to take

Someone suggested an arrow indicator to show when you appear in the pits. As it's not necessary, I think it can be very useful.
Such an indicator arrow would be superb...

^ Hey it's not Motocross Madness, it's a simulator!
we know, :P it could just be one of many little things to help accellerate the learning process of newbs.
If we start thinking, they should deffinately take away the map option, after all, it's not MotorCross Madness, It's a simulatort, and I haven't seen that many real cars that have a live map of the track displaying other drivers floating in the air... And how many cars have a chatting-device so you can talk to the other drivers on track while driving...

The ones that would lose their night sleep because of the indicator arrow could always swicht it off...

Sure, but a directional arrow would make LFS more unrealistic or less realistic than it is. It should become more realistic.
Their could be a guy holding the arrow As for the *virtual* arrow, i dont think it belongs in LFS.
maybe we should have other things turned off then for the sake of realism then:ernaehrun
Or just occasional signs on the pitwall. Or the road. These textures could be easily mirrored for reverse configs.

I'm up for that, as long as the tyre wear is visible, and the rear tyres are visible in the mirrors (for both wear and damage monitoring).
I really don't see how the arrow would affect the driving or decrease the reality of the game for the ones who don't wan't it, as it could always be turned off... But no worries, I'll just do what Eldanor does, and look at the map before leaving pits, as the map is SOOOO realistic....
What about some arrows on the tarmac? Pointing which way you're going to drive out of the pits.. Seems pretty obvious to me, though I don't know if they already are there..
