Hi, ive been looking through the interface settings for a while and cant find an option for it. Im looking to change the color of the box/rectangle that goes behind the text in the top left. I need to change it to something like white so i can see black text.

AFAIK that's fixed to being black at all times. You're better off using a light colour for that text since it's the same text used to highllight fastest laps etc on the scoreboard when a race is over.

i guess BLACk was meant to be colour of plates and not names and text

Make the boxes transparent. Because you cant see people with black name. My race name is Moo.Looney with the . being black, so my name just looks like Moo Looney.
