you said it was 4 wheel drifting which is keeping the tyres at peak slip angle via power whereas a scandinavian flick is sliding straight with al wheels locked under braking ... entirely different technique

That was mighty rude... but you're right, scandinavian flick is employed largely in rallying. The rally drivers aren't drifting, though they look like they are. They're... sliding(?) through dirt, that's all. Feint is using inertia and weight to 'pull' the front of the car into the corner and breaking traction from the rear wheels.
