Its a matter of when. not if? [headlights]
HI,
Im just really wondering if anybody knows when the lights on the car will actually be able to project the light, and/or if the lfs team are working on it atm. I know we would need night time maps etc, but im just wondering if anybody knows when it will arrive. Will it be S3, or in a later patch of S2?

Thanks for answering

Ciao Jambo
i dont think no one actually knows tbh
Only the development team can answer that.

Based on previous comments, and heresay, it's suspected not until S3.
Night Maps? i thought you could set the time, to 00:00 midnight?

lights will come with updated gfx engine, due to the fact that first removable parts of the car are needed, as falling apart spoilers, doors etc. Why? Because te XRG and XRT have to open their "sleeping lights" to actually have real lights. So first removable parts, then night/day, rain etc.
Rain if or when it does come will be an excellent feature. There has been a drought in lfs for far too long

I wonder what the XRR would look like with Corvette C5R-style headlights... hmm (probably pretty ugly).
.. removable parts .. that will be whole new joy for demo users on carpark
Apparently the devs are currently working on improving the AI.

Tracks on British landscape with no rain is just complete fantasy.

Lies! It snows sometimes instead

I think night will come before weather effects though, and I'll tell you why.
Night racing in the dry is fine. All you need is the lights and you're good to go. On the other hand, trying to race in rain or fog without projected lights would cause a lot of accidents.

Although the idea of a public T1 in snow/ice conditions or in heavy rain at night scares the hell out of me. Maybe the collisions need to be sorted before the weather effects get added
