        Stunt Island

Thanks, some weeks ago I wondered what the hell was that game "with stunts and an island" called but I didn't figure out the name was that simple

I'm little bit bitter because I never owned 486-specs computer. Road was IBM i386 --> Pentium I for me, so basicly missed probably the most golden era of PC games. For example Doom I and II are games that I have probably never (in total) played more than 1 hour. Back then my own i386 wasn't qualified for it and my friend had a uber-486 but he didn't let me play it
        erm

        MGS(any)

Super Mario world (1 and 3, 2 sucks)

        Sonic

        ToCA 1,2

        Mortal kombat

and more, just cant think atm
        (not counting LFS)

        Civilization
        Colonization
Settlers / (Serf City in US?)
        Pirates (Amiga version)
Test Drive I / II (Amiga)
        Formula One Grand Prix (Amiga)
        Silent Service I/II (Amiga)
        Elite (Amiga)
        F-19 (Amiga)
Wings (Amiga) (even the 3D mode was sucky)
        Knights of the Sky (Amiga)
        Battle Hawks 1942 (Amiga)
        Their Finest Hour (Amiga)
        Falcon (Amiga)
Falcon 4.0 (ok, it was buggy, but if you forget that)
        Monkey Island
        Wing Commander
        Doom
        Dune II
        Worms
        Aces of Deep

(I must have forgotten many...please forgive me for those)

EDIT: Damn forgot 2 important ones....
Steel Panthers series - this got me really hooked into hex based strategy (actually tactical)
Rome Total War - this rocks
Oh, I also forgot to mention the Dizzy games for the Speccy in my list. Dizzy FTW! Bring back the egg!
Zillions to choose from...but my all time hall of fame has got to include:

        LFS (obviously!)
        Dungeon Master
        Half Life 1 & 2
Falcon 4.0 (NOT [that] buggy if you install the latest patches and mods )
        Neverwinter Nights
        Links 2k1

        Richard Burns Rally
        Grand Prix Legends

        Wing Commander series

        F.E.A.R.

        and when I get it..
        Bioshock!

        California Games (C 64)
        Elite (Amiga 500)

        Walker (Amiga 1200)
        Transport Tycoon (PC)
        Master of Orion (PC)
        SimCity 3000 (PC)
        Baldur´s Gate II (PC)
        Guild Wars (PC)
Er... We've done this thread before I'm sure, but here we go:

        Super Mario World (SNES)
Super Mario Kart (SNES - not the slightly crapper N64 re-make)
        Tecmo Super Bowl (NES)
        Elite (BBC B / Spectrum)
        Chocks Away (Acorn A3000)
Turbo Esprit (Spectrum) - Precursor to GTA, ten years earlier.
        Star Wars (coin-op)
        Defender (coin-op)

Funny... I've played/obsessed over many PC games over the years but now I can't think of any that I'd call an all-time favourite, except the three I'm not allowed to mention.

Edit: Got one! Worms 2 (PC)
I'm sure I've replied to one of these threads before, but, as they say, spam makes the world go round. In no particular order

        Geoff Crammond's F1GP

        QuakeII (for some LAN aweness)
        RBR

Quote from jibber :Played that with a good friend for hours and hours and hours...

the mortars, brilliant, i still haven't come across a game that gave the same gameplay in two-player mode-splitscreen, you had to try guess the other players location on the map from trees and hills etc. and then mortar them... simply brilliant. But, you know it's the same when you see a movie years ago and then try to watch it now it seems WAY outdated, id say if I where to play that game again the same would apply and it would seem crap...but from what I can remember the two-player splitscreen was excellent.......dont suppose anyone knows where I could grap a copy?

        ---------------------------------------------------------

It's funny noone has mentioned Empire Earth???...ain't one of my favourites but you gotta give it to that game it's one million times better than anything Sid has been making since...er...the dawn of Microsoft.
        Anstoss 3.

        Still playing.
