AHHHH!!! Mice!
Naw, I'm talking computer mice. What style are you 'representing' right now? Me, I'm with the red microsoft laser on cord, worked good for 4 years, can't complain.

I go through mice like Dustin goes through rent boys. I think it's because I drum my fingers on them absent-mindedly.

I usually buy whichever is the cheapest optical mouse with a back-button on the side, and it's usually a Microsoft mouse, and I usually kill it in 6-9 months.
Wow...thats pretty harsh. Yeah, I know people who have made a habit of drumming on the mouse buttons, or pull at them from the front of the mouse.

Currently i'm using a Logitech MX1000 which i flipping adore - the little buttons on the side are a GOD SEND for websurfing (One closes a tab, one refreshes)

Mines seen better days, and i actually bought the "limited edition midnight black edition" but for some reason mines the plain blue one.

I also use a crappy M$ one that came with my keyboard, only ever use it when my MX1000's outta power though.

(Only the blue stripe is grey)

LOL @ Kev though

A friend of mine's got one of those but I just can't get used to wireless mice at all. They're too heavy, make me worry about getting RSI or carpal tunnel syndrome when I end up doing 12+ hours straight at work.
I use a Razer Deathadder (normally, but its in RMA at the moment).

Awesome mouse!
That MX1000 looks really wide, did that take some getting used to? Like man, my mouse drops right off after the end of the top buttons.

Not really any wider than anything else, the thumb fits snugly.

Only problem is that i have to clean the terminals before it will charge.

Heavier than most mice, but once i got used to it i wouldn't go back, although a Revolution / G5 looks tempting...

You and me both I love my MS laser mouse, had it for longer than i can remember, cost me all of £14 and i don't see any reason to change it.
razer copperhead its ace recommend it to anyone (i like)
I love my wireless Logitech LX7. My keyboard is shit though.
I have Logitech MX1000 too, worked for a good half a year now and I love it!
When sometimes my mouse runs out of power, i got to take other corded logitech black mouse (the most simple optical mouse with wheel) and it's too LIGHT!! Yes seriously, IT's darn too light! So when my mouse is charged, i can enjoy the good of MX1000 again!
Before i got this MX1000, I never thought mouse can do SUCH A DIFFERENCE! Very ergonomic and buttons on it's top and sides are very useful, in games, in internet.
Logitech MX518 mouse
Ideazon Zboard keyboard

I have long fingers so prefer the larger domed logi to the razers. Used to have a standard microsoft optical mouse before I played FPS, was a nice mouse for general office use, but no good for games.
my keyboard came with the PC and my mouse was a ball mouse until it got too clogged up even when i took it apart so i got a Trust laser, does the job it's designed to do, i don't really see the point in a £60 mouse.
razer copperhead
2000dpi is sweet for desktop computing
only problem with it is that the lmb produces doubleclicks every once in a while (currently does ... super annoying) and that i find it too big or more to the point too tall (and that comming from a guy who has got some rather long fingers) every now and then it touches my palm which i hate with mice

and a cheap keyboard which apparently is a logitech one. I don't see the point in a 200£ mouse+keyboard set, except for gamer.
But give me a good wheel and i'm fine.
I have the Logitech MX518. Which is great. Really comfortable grip. Back and forward buttons are always useful. "On the fly" DPI adjustment is good. And I spare button which can be set to do anything.

I also use the Logitech G15 keyboard. That is soooo great, full of features, like the 18 "G" keys on that side, that can be programed 3 times to give 54 "G" keys. Full of "Shift+R" etc. The backlight is great, perfect for night time foruming. That display is great, best feature of it!

Both came to about £100.
that one, for a few years now.

guess my needs aren´t that high.
MS Intelli Explorer 3.0 - bought it twice.

Had the first one for some years.. till it got worn out, then bought me another one and have had this one for some years too now

Make that 3, I love this mouse, so much better than any other mouse I've tried, it's just comfortable pretty bomb proof (been used non-stop for four years without a fault) and the only thing I ever have to do to it is give it a wash every few months when it gets grubby and wipe the four little low friction pads to remove the crap that builds up on them, I really couldn't stand a heavy mouse or to have to use a mouse pad again.

I know I'm a bit odd but wired devices really don't bother me, I prefer them because you don't have to faff around charging them then reconnecting them then being out of range and so on plus wired keyboards/mice are cheaper.
