Forgot my PC list! :zombie:

In no particular order:

GTA III, VC, SA
Grand Prix Legends
LFS
X-Wing vs TIE Fighter
Spinter Cell
Command & Conquer (various)
Wolfenstein
Prince Of Persia
Max Payne I & II
Interstate 76
Carmageddon
Need For Speed (original)
Doom
Quake
The Sims
SimCity

Nothing really recent I know - my PC's too crap, but I've seen loads of sweet games that should be in my list

God, how could I forget these console legends? I really should have though about my list a bit longer...

Resident Evil (all of them - 4 rules)
Gran Turismo (it's the one that started me on the road to PC sims and expensive hardware)
Mortal Kombat
Street Fighter 2
F-Zero
Wipeout 2097
Sonic The Blue Thing
Abe's Oddysee! FTW!
Skullmonkeys - too cool, I still play it sometimes =]
Soul Calibur
Dead Or Alive (Options/bouncing breast: ON | OFF )

bah, heaps more, gotta go pretend to work now ...
#30 - DeKo

Quote from Boris Lozac :Rainbow Six Raven Shield/Athena sword

Damn I forgot Rainbow Six and Rogue Spear, basicly the godfathers of tactical realism shooters.

Hell yeah, but not so much the Rogue Spear, Raven Shield and Athena sword are the cream of realism shooters.. shame they went the EA way with the the Vegas.. as Nelly Furtado loves to say "why the all good things come to an end... "
my favorites..

need for speed - heeps of fun

unreal (series )

Grand Theft Auto (series )

forza I & II

Diablo I &II

Return To Castle Wolfenstein - enemy terratory

kiado racer 2 ( x100 times better then lfs cheap but im not allowed say that )

half life ( plus mods and stuffs ) - pure classic.. you dont even need a 3d graphics card

thats it for now cause i cant remember anymore
Quote from CSU1 :the mortars, brilliant, i still haven't come across a game that gave the same gameplay in two-player mode-splitscreen, you had to try guess the other players location on the map from trees and hills etc. and then mortar them... simply brilliant. But, you know it's the same when you see a movie years ago and then try to watch it now it seems WAY outdated, id say if I where to play that game again the same would apply and it would seem crap...but from what I can remember the two-player splitscreen was excellent.......dont suppose anyone knows where I could grap a copy?

Aswell, remember the mines! When your friend thought he would have "taken" them all out with his mortar... then tried to steal the flag, and got blown up by the ones he hasn't seen (best was to place one at the entrance of his base, so when he tried to run back with the flag, he would die a few meters away from his "home"... haha!).

I agree that this was some of the best splitscreen fun i ever had.

And about playing old games... and don't find them as good anymore as you thought they were. I can tell you, i usually would agree... but go and try it, Army Men isn't one of them. I played it maybe 2 years ago the last time, and it was still as fun as it always has been!

About the copy... maybe try ebay? I've still got it here for the PS1.
on the topic of great splitscreen games has anyone ever played fatal racing (which btw has more similarities with stunts than just the kind of racing up to and including that its also know under a different name (whiplash))
one of the best if not the best splitscreen game i ever played
I did play it, but boy was it sloow on my pc..
I remember playing it with my cousin for long long hours ( with ultra low settings , so the cars looked like a match box ) . It was great fun and it is really a sad thing that game developers no longer make such splitscreen games for modern PC-s.
i had the 3dfx version that came with my voodoo graphics back in the day
the software renderer was utter pants but the 3d accelerated mode ran perfectly fine
Judged by the number of hours spent on them, this is top three.

1. Elite
2. Flashback
3. Settlers
Flashback, great little game that was!
Oh yeah, I had Flashback too in Amiga. It had that main theme music which reminded bit Terminator (2?) movie. (You can google the music files and play them in Winamp if you like, but I'm not going to post here direct links to files which are possibly copyrighted. But you might want to check UnExotica :tilt

I also played Syndicate quite a lot in PC.

EDIT: Just remembered the Alien Breed games in Amiga and PC.
EDIT2: Star Control 2 in PC
