If you have the latest version of google earth there is a hidden flight sim in it.

Open up Google Earth and press ctrl + windows key + A OR ctrl+ alt + A and it will load up an aircraft selection window, select the airport and you are off.

It does actually work, and by god is it cool to do a flypast of my house in an F16!

You sure don't Mike I reinstalled FS9 2 days ago and its great to finally be able to play it with everything turned up, tons of addon mesh, textures and traffic 2005 at 100%. I have it locked at 25FPS and it runs beautifully. (It's the one exception to my "you need 60fps for smoothness" rule)

I'm thinking of venturing online at some point. I may have to ask you for some advice at some point soon, as you seem to be a bit of a flight sim head

That thing is pretty dam cool, the only problem is that it's impossible with a keyboard. The controls were soooo sluggish.

Use the mouse then! Hold left button down and move the mouse around, you'll find it more responsive than the keyboard
