Sam, you're wrong, that tall tall peak was actually when the bug came out and my profile got pasted on the main page for the whole day, that's when all the women came and told their friends to check out my sexy body (and G25)...

Back to topic: how about your average finish position?

Quote from LordBlaster :as we are talking about stats, i still would love to see
top10´s for:

- most wins (overall)
- most wins (%) (only with at least 50 or 100 races driven)
- less yellow flags (%) (same with the races)
- ...

i know there´s is another "stats" thread... but i wanted to give a little "reminder", just in case.

I'm going to create some new stats pages to cover these this week. We're just getting the new look for the STCC site ready to go live, and then I'll be able to come back to the CTRA site and pick some projects off. I also want to add something extra to the front page for the top 10s in each of the licences, top race wins, top lap records.. *maybe* lowest yellow flag ratio. Let's talk about this.. we didn't want to make anything more than a mild talking point about yellow flag ratios. I like the idea of people caring about their yellow flag ratio, but it's such a heuristic number - it's not definitive, it's just a guess or a hint. The last thing I think we need is for people to be getting frustrated at other people causing their yellow flag ratio to get damaged.

I like that one, but we can't implement it at the moment because we only record first or podium positions. We don't (yet) record finishing position. I'll chuck that at the to-do board, and see if it'll stick
Sam, I know why you don't want to make such a big deal of the yellow flag ratio but the truth of the matter is that it has become a pretty big deal for the drivers, not to mention the teams who use it (along with other stats) to make judgements on prospective drivers. At the moment I think it's a pretty fair indicator of what to expect from a driver but of coarse does suffer from the fact that it's inaccurate due to situations that arise during a specific track incident when the flagged driver may be faultless. Still, it's the same for everyone and is much better than nothing at all After all, it's just an indication and must be read in conjunction with other stats avaiable to give a more full picture. I wonder if something might be also be done along these same lines with "waved blue flags" divided by time. ie. Number of waved blues and average time spent per waved blue. Just a thought, don't stone me
What about average points per race? That say's something about the quality of the driver and rules out the quantity of races.
And a yellow flag ratio chart sounds good ('cause I will be on top then) .
