Welcome fellow racers,

Thanks to the nice people at dsrc we've managed to get a decent server for a testing session tonight.

server: dsrc battlegrounds #3
Track: SO2
cars: detuned UFRs (45% intake restriction make nice 80hp) only!!
password: ufrslow
time: 20:30 UK time (server is already open for testing)

We will start with a short practice session, then make a 10-15min qualifying. After that we'll do one long race and a short one. Times depend on how many people will show up.

Please join and obey the rules, be fair and try not to wreck anyone.

Our purpose is to find out how a full field of detuned UFRs feels, how cars and drivers behave and if there are any more problems left.

Especially the intake restriction might be subject to change this evening.

after over an hour of racing the UF(R)1,3 I have to say:

It is really fun to race it, because the races are close, the adventage of the drivers with more experience is not that big and because of the more raceconcepted car (UF1 = road car; UFR = Racing car)
The only disadventage is that you cannot just go to the setupfield to search a setup

We expected that problem, and we will try to supply a good default setup for every track before the season starts.

The setup i was using was just a modifyed full ufr set i had for that combo.

All you need to do is lower the brake pessure, same for psi and your set.

great fun to drive, plenty of grip and very close racing. The first quali session we did 9 cars were covered by 0.89 sec. And the racing was very exciting, I had a smile all over my face.

Thanks to everyone that followed the 45% restriction rule - not 1 person didn't put the restriction on, made my job being the admin there much easier, and hope to see more next time

Also thanks to ZWR and particularly Butz for organising this 'mini event' I think it was very successful especially at short notice, and I really hope to see a league starting with these in the near future.
