so, how do i import replays from lfs?

Nice work as usual Ian. But I broke it

I selected group by, then tried to group by car and then it crashed with acces violation, same on restart.

Oh, almost forgot: It says "Building replay list. Please wait..." behind the dialogue. Address is the same every time. Maybe you can get something out of the screenie.

Edit: I fixed it by removing most of the ini-files. Log-file shows nothing about the bug. I also found that If I let the error dialogue walk out of the window (by pressing enter alot) the program regins focus and I can exit it nicely.

Select base lfs path in settings and they are imported by automatically.

Thanks for the report heson.. I haven't had much time to do any "fun stuff" for a while.. work is solid and then some.

I think the reason that it clears after you manage to close the error msg eventually is that the error is probably triggering while reading the replay list, so you'll get 1 msg per replay file.. that's my logical guess to that part anyway

My guess is that removing the SPR / MPR grid ini files would be enough to fix it if removing INI files appears to do so. Could you possibly test this for me please by just deleting those and see if it works again? If so, could you then make it crash and send me a copy of your MPR / SPR / MPR results INI files to [email protected] ? Maybe I'll be able to spot something in them. I Need to update the debug log as it's not very useful atm.

I'll try and get something fixed up at the weekend

Correct guess, its one dialogue per replay. (its semi functional after that and removing the icon from the group-by field, the "Building replay list. Please wait..." is still there until I restart though)

I sent you a copy of the full ini-folder, I can try to diet down my replay collection to emailable size If you need more data.

lol.. I guess in a way, would be nice if it was the same bug as I know how I fixed that one (although lost all the code for that project ).

Hi heson..

Had 5 mins to have a quick look at this bug and by the looks of it, it relates to the use of the new 'highlight benchmark times' feature I added. My version (INI files etc) also crashes when I try and group a column and have benchmark highlighting enabled. If I disable this from the View->Grid menu, all works as expected. This should work for you too as a temporary workaround until I fix the bug and release an update

Manual method:
My LFSW Settings -> Pubstat access [tab]


You'll find a 'Generate Ident-key' button at the bottom of that window.

When I get everything added that I want for the next update, I'll change the info in LRM to point a direct link to the pubstat window to hopefully save future confusion.

No probs.. glad you're sorted.. and yup, there's plenty of things to learn regarding LFS, especially LFSWorld.. Vic's done a great job of creating a goldmine of info there.

It's coded in C++ using Borland Dev Suite 2006. The core of the app (the grid) is a 3rd party component from DevExpress.

Couple of feature requests, not sure if it's even possible, but what the hey........

1) Better intergration with LFSW, I would like to be able to upload spr's from the replay manager if at all possible.

2) Ranks, is there anyway the replay manager could integrate with the car "ranks", MHR in particular.

I'll look into this. IIRC, GenerAL asked about this way back near the first release too. I'll drop Vic a mail and clear it with him first as remote submission of form data is usually considered "rude" at best for most sites

Ahh this could be a useful feature for seeing at a glance, targets for hotlapping. I'll see what can be done about this one too.

Now possible to retrieve drivers and laptimes from the Hotlap Chart (ie: per car / track combo) and to retrieve and display your own uploaded hotlap data

Dan.. the hotlap data added in this version isn't quite what you asked for.. the MHR data isn't available via pubstats, but I've asked Vic if he can make it available. If so, I'll add it. Hopefully the hotlap info now available in LRM will be useful in the mean time
