Just replaced my "old" LG 18.1" TFT screen (L1811S) with a 22" widescreen, just wondered if anyone here wanted it before I stick it on ebay.
It's not worth alot, it's about 3-4 years old, good condition, offers welcome.

What is the native resolution of the monitor?

native res is 1280x1024

I'm in need of a new monitor really but I'm a bit lost as to what to do. Buying another CRT seems a fairly silly idea, but I don't like TFTs, they're cheap and I don't have much. I've looked into getting a TFT but am not really sure about whether I'd like one, but seeing as my older (1999) CRT seems to be about to die given the flickering it's giving.

So as to Danowat's monitor, I'm guessing 18.1 means it's a widescreen? So it will be a bit bigger than a 17" CRT? I'm guessing the quality would be reasonable (really have no clue). I'm interested although I wouldn't be able to pick it up (done the last Snett of the season ). So without being rude have you got a rough idea of how much you'd like for it including delivery?

Yeah, sorry, I sold the monitor to someone at work for £40, thought it was better to try and avoid shipping costs.

I was fairly happy with £40, although, the monitor did cost me £400 about 4 years ago LOL

AFAIK, the only widescreen CRT monitors are the Sony FW900 and W900. At 24" and weighing 100 lbs, they're massive.
