Maybe this is a bad idea, but whatever. Just something that crossed my mind some minutes ago, so I haven't really thought it through.


Would it be possible to get a league system integrated into LFS?

My thoughts sounds like this:

In the main menu you get a new button "Create/Manage leagues".
Inside, you choose which server the league system should get its stats from.
When the qualifying starts, you type the "Get info for league" so that the league system gets it stats without getting stats from all the trainings.

The league admin have to choose the drivers, easily done by typing in the usernames to the league.

After each race the results and some stats will be automatically updated and found on LFSworld or on your own site if you like.
Cars, times, best laps, pb's, place started and place ended and so on.
It could allso save the table for each round, which would give the drivers a chanse to look at the progress they've made.

This would probably require allot of coding, so I guess Scawen wouldn't even think about it. But is this something that victor could do, or maybe even an LFS fan thats really good in coding stuff (Becky Rose, hi ) could do, so that Scawen could easily implement it if he saw it good enough.

Or maybe there already is a program like this?

i wouldnt put it in LFS, but i think it'll be less work and time if you'd put it in LFSworld.

My thoughts too, and this little thing would also make it easier for new people to look after leagues.

+1, but there woulb be loads of pointell leagues, so i say only give it to s2 people, not demo

Do you actually realise how much effort it takes to currently organise a leauge?, trust me, it ain't easy.

Anything that can be added to LFS, be it in the game, or external, will be a god send to all league admins.

Well, such a powerful tool would of course only be for S1 or S2 people.

Good idea, but then within LFSW, not LFS.

It'd be an interesting thing to have though, and would make life a lot easier for people in leagues and the people trying to organise them. But of course it'd be a lot of work for the devs.
Maybe as a post-S3 release or addon it could work though.
