Todd Wasson is on this forum, JTW2104 or something, I'm not sure what the numbers are, but he posts a lot on here. His stuff is really good.

Oh yea... Todd has some great work with engine sounds, that's no secret.
Some of those sounds blew me away (I am a little drunk now but nevermind that part), they put a big grin on my face while I imagined I was on SO Long with a machine that sounded like that

lol

They sounded pretty distorted/clipped to me. I'm not sure I'd bother recording and listening to that when you've got things like the BRM16 on offer - see third post down in this link:

I highly recommend the book Into the Red, which comes with a CD of all the cars being driven hard. Wonderful music - see link for a few examples.
