Quote from yoyoML :Why would you think you can keep full throttle in any part of a corner? Even with a good setup and a perfect line, there will be parts you just can't go full throttle. It is normal to have to play with the throttle to find the grip limit, for the most part of any corner with any car.

Traction control would be the only setup that allows you to keep full throttle.

As I said. It's not about keeping full throttle all the corner. I've watched some WR replays and drivers tend to push it down to the metal short after crossing the top of most corners. I managed to do something like that only few times without loosing control that's why I know it's possible. As a beginner I haven't got 100% consistent line so my guess was that this could be a problem.

Braking earlier always helps, 10m, 20m try and see, that will help to hit apex more often and when 9/10 times you can make corner well start to brake 5m later and so on, that has helped many, me included even I'm slow as h**l

Dude, don't worry about what the WR guys are doing. Sure, have a look, but don't get caught up in trying to drive like them. There are very few people who can actually drive like that, but a great many who can race competitively online. If you want a goal try to get within two seconds of the WR time, that should be enough for you to race online and beat most all of the drivers on a server. Of course, there's always someone who's faster, but the real fun is often to be had in the middle of the pack.

Just take it easy, brake well in time for the corners, get on the gas early and accelerate through the corner. You don't need to be immediately hard on the throttle, just push it gently and minimise your wheel-spin. Plus don't be afraid to modulate the throttle if you feel the back-end coming around. So long as you take a good line and accelerate through the apex, you'll get some good times and some good results.
I agree to most of the comments here as well.
Don't try to mimic WR drivers. You might catch a trick or two but god forbit you race like that online as you wont last 3 laps.

Problem with the WR's is the fact that the majority of combos can not be driven that way in a race. They use strange lines, corner in an odd manner and the sets feel like on ice. They might be fast but it's also very unrealistic.

All you have to do is feel comfortable with the car and track...not be fast.
If you know to do X if the car does Y, you're more then ready to race on CTRA or any other server out there.
Yes, you will start in the back then move towards the center and so on. You'd be suprised how fast you can climb in position if you know how to react rather then just hotlap for that perfect line (32 on SO Town Rev....the line no longer exists except for the leader and the back marker).

Just get out and race and make sure you have fun. That's what this is all about

Thanks guys

I thought that I'm the most lame driver who can't handle the car properly (because of that WR replays).

When I modulate throttle through the corner I can feel what is going on with the car and keep it on the track. As most of you said, it's the best way to get faster and faster

Thanks for your support
