thanks for the help, but befor you posted i got so fed up cus i wanted to play and i just sarted messing with crap and fixed it hehe

And here I thought I was the only one with this problem. I thought it was something I messed with in the registery (got a bunch of browser hijackers I couldn't get rid of). My problem isn't that bad, but I do get the text looking like that on the racer's names when they are far enough ahead and also on tire temps on the F9 screen.
