RED. I mean, LHD.
Left.

Quote from count.bazley :Always Left-Hand Drive and use metric units too, I'm a weird Brit!

Well, to me it sounds normal.
Quote from DarkTimes :Right hand drive - because that's the proper side.

Please, don't try to turn this into a flame war of which driving side is better. Different people do different things, and that's all there is to it.

But back on topic, I use LHD, and metric speedo. Don't know why I use metric though, just what I am used to in LFS.
RHD ftw, i use mph

Are americans getting more defensive these days? I appreciate that you probably have reason to be, but it's an interesting phenomenon to observe nonetheless.
Well I use Left because Canadian cars are left hand drive, and I use Metric, because again Canada is metric.
LHD, no changing for any track...

just as it´s the standard here.
I use RHD, just to be an awkward Canadian. I think it was because of ages ago, I installed LFS, and forgot to swap it, and have just grown accustomed to it.
Quote from madbikes :Left Hand Drive: US, Canada
Right Hand Drive: Japan, most Asian Countries (I think)

Well, China is kind of big and they use LHD there. Hong Kong and Japan are RHD. Others I'm not sure. I've heard a saying that countries use RHD if they have kings/emperors.

We are LHD here, and I drove in Japan a few times. It's really funny hitting the wipers when you're thinking turn signals LOL! And turning into the wrong lane when both ways are empty can be a real problem.

What's interesting is, beginning recently Japan recognizes our driver's license. I imagine some funky accidents coming...
LHD because I don't want to be a weaboo.
depends on the track
but im natural RHD
Quote from Flotch :drive on the right/left side of the road

that can be...lmao.
i was so focused on LHD or RHD that i didnt even think about that
RHD in LFS..because its what I'm used to IRL.

In most other games/sims though, I've grown used to LHD, doesn't particually bother me, I'm not really any slower. Not aware of any way to change it to RHD in ISI titles or rF so just got used to it.
Right Hand Drive because that's how it is in New Zealand. Left hand drive just feels wierd
Quote from [RCG]Boosted :haha...take a look at the pic...so wrong.

The part on Croatia is kinda funny too:

"Croatia was part of the Austro Hungarian Empire at the beginning of the century, and after the collapse of the empire, it started driving right."
I'm English living in the UK, and I use LHD. I would prefer an LHD car in real life too, because the handbrake, gearstick, is on my right, so its easier to control those handbrake turns, and snappy gearchanges!
LHD most of the time. Actually I don´t care because I´m using the chase view. Oval reverse of course RHD because of the weightbalance.
RHD, because it's the right way
i almost always use RHD. The majority of the tracks in the world (and lfs - i think) are clockwise, and so have more left handers than right. This means that the weight is on the inside and so u dont roll. But on reverse - its different - i use RHD cos I cant be bothered to change.

I dont think 70 kg in a 1000 KG car makes the difference between rolling and not rolling, and the grip advantage is only ever really aparent on the oval, and even then it's only about 0.1-0.2 secs...

It's more about visibility, tbh.

(RHD btw, i can use LHD fine, but i just prefer RHD)
Quote from mrodgers :I don't know how folks can switch back and forth.

meh at the moment I sometimes use custom wheels view center then swap to LHD cockpit and then sometimes even RHD cockpit I drive RHD in RL of couse, it's harder to change driver position in RL

Trying too ween myself off custom wheels view
