No, the prospect of watching cheese melt is more exciting.
Imho technical tracks is not the real thing - it is the technical corners:
* corners which have some special bump, camber or elevations that force you to alter your line
* corners that are quickly followed by another corner
* corners where you can't do all the braking in straight line (Rouen in GPL)
* corners that tighten (T1 at GPL Mexico)
* corners that loosen (Parabolica)
* very fast corners
* very long corners
* corners with double apexes

Looking at the tracks in LFS there aren't imho enough of these technical corners. South city has few as has fern bay. Westhill has only T1 in normal and T1 in reverse. Blackwood has few tech corners on the rev config and kyoto tracks have few too. But all in all when you compare these to the real ones, like the Spa mid part, the Mosport T1 or the Moss corner or the Laguna seca corkscrew, all the LFS corners are so lame.

Not saying that there aren't a few very good ones in LFS too, the kyoto ones I have marked in the pic are imho nice, technical ones, for example

Quote from Gunn :Watching a race at Monte Carlo with modern F1 cars is about as exciting as watching cheese melt.

When I said exciting, I thought it was obvious I wasn't talking about the audience.
If you ever have a chance to talk to a driver that has competed on the Monte Carlo street track, he/she will tell you that they have nightmares about it quite often.

Same goes for Laguna Seca.

If you are fine with the dificulty of tracks in LFS, that's fine. But fact is that many of us aren't. Some tracks are great IMO, but the majority lacks excitement. This obviously depends what vehicle you are in. I prefer slower FR cars and tight tracks to GTR's or F1/FOX on AS, WE or KY but that's just me.
Quote from gohfeld23 :I know peopel always argue that one hasn't driven all the combos, blah blah. It's a valid argument...

Nope, not a valid arguement. I don't like the FXR, XRR, RB4, XRG, XRT, UF1, UFR, BF1, FOX, and MRT. So there's 10 cars along with the 48 track configurations including reverse that I would not drive. That alone is 480 of the combos that I haven't driven. I've driven a very few times those cars on at least one of the tracks, so I can say I don't like the cars. I choose different cars from the particular class. I haven't tried all of those 480 of the combinations, so I guess by the reasoning of "you haven't driven all the combos, blah blah," I shouldn't be bored with LFS or wish for new content.

Oops, I missed the FXO in the list. I guess that makes it 528 combos that I haven't driven. I would still prefer to have more and better tracks. This doesn't even take into consideration that I don't like some of the tracks, like many of the South City configs.

What about that huge, parabolic curve that leads onto (or off of) the Kyoto oval on the GP long circut, also, the corner that's on that same side, at KYNat, going onto the oval bit, is quite a tricky bit of work in a GTR to get right, and go fast exiting it.
