when i buy my S2 license do i enter in the license numbers and what not where i am currnetly playing the demo, or do i need to download a new thing.

You don't need to download anything, the demo you have installed already is the full version, just with the additional content locked away. Once you've bought the license, click the "unlock" button in the main menu and enter your LFS user account and GAMEpassword in there.
