Rumble Strip Sounds
As far as I know, LFS doesn't have rumble strip sounds.
I can feel them on the FFB on my wheel, but I can't hear them

It would be cool to be able to hear them, and make LFS just that little more enjoyable and realistic
+1 Small thing to implicate but definately something that adds to the 'SIM' Environment

+1! Would be nice to hear if someone hits you..
Quote from BlueFlame :implicate

"implement"

Rumble strip sounds don't have much to do with that - unless you mean that as an additional suggestion?

Generally a greater variation of the sounds generated would be welcome - currently on the auditory ambience front lfs is rather lacking. Just about anything that generates vibrations should have a sound generated (or atleast played back) as well.
I'm sure it's Implicate

He is Implicating it should be Implemented

Close, but no banana. :P

And since I got a few minutes to wait until this compilation finishes:

"He is implicated in the action of proposing the implementation."

"Evidence of an addition proposed by [DUcK] was sighted on the LFS forums, implicating him further in the grand scheme of LFS improvement."

etc
You're too persistant Xaotik, I give up
would be nice to see this! i loved the rumble strip sounds off of GP3.
I think there should be better road sounds in general.. Including the rumble strips..

Like, say there was a pothole in South City. You'd hear the sound of the big bump as you go over and into it. And another example, if you go over a bridge, the sound of the road noise changes as it does in real life depending on what kind of surface you are driving over, how thick it is, etc.
I never thought aabout this, but it is defintely a good idea.
+1. i don't feel a vibration in my wheel? can we add that? or should I turn up my force feedback?
-1 to "rumblestrip sounds"
+1 to implementing tyre & suspension impact/compression sounds (which would result in rumblestrip sounds)

Yeah, even better
I love the sound they make I drive on em on the freeway for fun

BZZZZZZZZZZZZRUMPT
any chance we can have rabbits on the grass like there used to be on the inside of old hall at oulton park? then we could have sounds of them going splat to let you know your past the rumble strip and on the grass

seriously though +1 for rumble strip sounds, either from tyre / suspension compression or even as a canned effect. ironically up till now i though we did have them but it must have been me associating the wheel movement, position of car etc, with the noise i hear in real life on road from them which must prove something about how imersive LFS is

Ah, that's the spirit.

How would you "add" that? You don't feel anything because they are so FLAT which is of course wrong. If the strips were saw type /\/\/\ or something like that they you would feel.
Some kerbs have a texture that you can feel, others don't. The quality of your wheel, and the settings in Windows will decide if you feel any.

From memory, Blackwood and South City have more of the textured kerbs than other places.
I think its safe to say the Westhill kerbs are about as abrasive as a scummy teenagers face.

i feel sick now, so the red kerbs are the inflamed skin and the white is the result of squeasing the zits ?
more importantly sound change from road to dirt when you change

the grip changes but the sound doesn't properly
+1 for more track and enviromental sounds including rummble strips.
It certainly would add to the experience.

Could be,
Eurgh, all this talk of someone poping zits *pukes*

Glad i've never suffered from them, they dont look nice to have >.<

p.s lol i just remembered, at school today, i was talking to the missus (she bored the hell out of me talking about something that happened...or something like that.) and my eye's started to wander. I saw this kid, actually picking his spots in the middle of the bloody dinner line! It made me feel sick....
