When I looked you up in LFS World you had done 44 laps ...
So AT LEAST 6 more to reach the stipulated 50 laps ...

It's very individual how many laps you need to be prepared. I've heared ppl who only drive max 30 laps in any combo to be prepared and who also is very fast. Myself need around 200 to feel safe without being fast.
Those stipulated 50 laps is a good mark for me to understand you at least know how the track is and how to get around in a safe way.

I've nearly done 50. I know the track pretty well, I just really suck with this wheel. I can bet I'll be at the bottom of the league here but I don't really care, I'm happy just being in the race.

I forgot about the 50 laps thing, more by luck i have more than 50 online laps done

I'm feel just like you.

Personally I always have big problems when I change wheel or pedals, it takes a long time to get used to it. There's only one way to go for me and that is to praccy, praccy and praccy ...

I did about 11 laps in Qualifying last night, does that count?

Also do the lap times have to be within a certain time?

In this league the time doesn't matter. What really matter is your way of handling traffic though. Of course the better you can handle your car the better you handling the traffic. So ... just keep on with the practising ...

which could help also to get some air time at SimRacingTonight (seems like they air mostly stuff with real names)

We talked it through and this is a very good idea. I'll mail you all about what info they want and you return it filled with that info. Also we change to real race names as well.
