Steering wheel and pedals
How to use steering wheel and pedals? I have a momo racing force feedback wheel, how?
#2 - Mauni
Can you be a bit more accurate? They should work as in any other game.
What's the problem?
1. Install MOMO drivers for Windows (only if Win doesn't recognize by itself)
2. Enter LFS, Options, Controls -> Choose wheel and assign functions to the axis etc.
3. Drive a new WR.

right mr know-it all!<img height="52" width="52">is there ay way of gettng the pedals working on separate axison LFS?
I found that with the latest Logitech drivers, you need to go into control panel in windows and de-select "combined axis" then do the same in the game.
Hold wheel with hands. Turn to attain desired effect. Place feet on pedals. Push to attain desired effect. Continue as necessary.

lol
One more thing I didn't see mentioned. You have to invert the axis for the brake and throttle of a Momo Racing wheel.

yes, and they must be set to combined axis!

No they don't. You must set it in-game and in Profiler to separate axis. I struggled for hours with my DFP to get it all right.

And he says he has a DFP, I have the Momo Racing and just want to confirm with the Momo you can have separate axis as well. Again, same, set in Profiler/Windows Gaming Options and in LFS for combined. Also, with the Momo, you don't need to use the Profiler if you don't want to. You do need it with DFP if you want the 900 degree rotation.

I've noticed that running LFS thru the profiler seems to help with
pedal calibration for this set of pedals, yet seemed to be one of the
causes of pedal spikes in the set I had before..... Weird.

I have the Momo with seperate axis.

Also I ditched the profiler eventually as I found the wheel more reliable without it (would sometimes lose its force etc).
Note to the people that don't know(like i didn't for a long time). You CAN have separate pedals, that menas you can brake while you still aplying the gas, also known as the left foot braking.. I have a Wingamn FF GP(avatar ) and i played many months thinking that i can't separate the axis. But you can, in the control panel and in the game set to "separate" but you have to invert something in the LFS, in order for this to work, at least for my wheel..
to clarify running Momo seperate for xp users its control panal / printers and other hardware / game controllers , highlight momo wheel clik properties then click settings and here you should see near the top a check box (pedals reported as combined when checked) uncheck this.
then open LFS and set in options / controls "throttle/break axis" to seperate do a recalibrate from axis/ff screen in LFS invert throttle and break axis if you need to

SD.

PS You dont need the profiler software to be running.

#3 is optional though...
