I'm looking to get a custom T shirt made up and I've got no idea where to start. I've searched on Google but, perhaps predictably, there are literally pages of different websites that I don't have the time or inclination to go through designing a T Shirt only to find out it doesn't fit my requirements after 5 minutes getting acquainted with it (well, I've already done that twice and I don't want to do it again . So, could someone please read my requirements and point me in the direction of one they've used before or have been told about? Thanks in advance.

My requirements:
Image printed on front
Text printed on back of (about 50 characters over 2 lines)
Dark coloured (navy blue) base colour for t shirt

Is that good enough? It was the first choice in google when typing T-shirt prints.

Fits in all your requirements I think...

edit: If you ever order one please tell me if you're satisfied! I've been doing research to make my own t-shirts but not sure if it's worth all the trouble...

Hi there, you could get a free CafePress shop - then make your design & buy the tshirt. Should be easy as they mainly do t-shirts. I use CafePress for Prints & Posters. Peace & Good Luck.

With the price of the special transfer paper and plain T-Shirts at 2 for £3.00 in Tescos, why go to all the bother of getting (PAYING!!!!) somebody to do the work for you?

Because self-made transfers always have a sort of different-colour-to-the-shirt border around the edge which really gives it away.

They offer picture, colour, and text front and back and seem to do it all very professionally. A friend and I plan to use them in the near future.
I also find that if theres something there that they don't offer, fire an email to them and see what they say, it seems they are pretty flexible with doing whatever you like with a design/idea.

A note about t-shirt studio, that's the campany I used for my LFS t-shirts. They messed my order up twice and the images went all grainy after the first wash.

I ended up with 5 t-shirts when I only wanted three and the quality of the image voried between all of them.

I´ve used t-shirt custom, I have my own t-shirt GVR team. first the easy way to start your custom t-s is print your design at printing shop on transfer paper, if you dont have enough money you can iron it for yourself, be careful no burn it.

I spend about 1 1/4 euro in t-shirt, 2 euros in print my design, if you want a quality in your t-shirt the ironing should be for experts, you would spend about 1.5 euros, so that let us 5 euros aprox.

caution, there is 2 types for thansfer paper, 1.- on time to ironing the tint of paper could be added all the paper size, 2.- on time to ironing just the design should be added. of course the second option is better, i cant tell you how to reconiz them.

to ad to Bob's comment... The quality of the print isn't too great either. After about 4-5 washes the colours have washed out and faded.
