Hi all! I need some help with creating the scripts I posted above. Now, I've never gone near the scripting system of LFS so I don't really know much about it but I just read a bit about it in AndroidXP's Script Guide and got a general idea of how it works. However, there are a few things I would like to enforce that I didn't find in the guide.

First off, I want to be able to force shifter only devices to make things more interesting when racing online. Secondly, I would like to implement a fully working clutch system where its a must to use the clutch when launching and if at a stand still in gear, engine stalls (I know it may seem hard but I was thinking of how the ignition button could have a part in all this ) and lastly, I want to know how to force intake restrictions (which I believe has already been done but I would still like to know how its done ), as well as removing the weight restrictions that are taken from the Master Server.

This isn't a request, its more of a "can you teach me how to go about things?" kind of thread so that in future, you won't get annoyed by my numerous script requests and so that I don't have to write a ton of threads asking for things .

YOu can't remove master server weight restrictions...

Errrm, just as a note, the kind of scripting from my starter guide has nothing to do with InSim applications (like the CTRA X-System) that could actually accomplish some of the things you want.

With LFS scripting you can actually only modify built-in LFS options. Forcing a shift type or similar is not a built-in function, so you won't be able to do such a thing with LFS scripts. You'll have to use an InSim application that checks the users info when he enters the track and boots him to spec (or kick) if his controller types don't match your criteria.

Well, would you be able to tell me how or lead me to a place where I could learn?
