i have checked that its possible to overwrite the server rules..

I run the #L4S(race) server every sunday with option: "Vote no", "Midrace no". But its possible for everyone to press "shift-r" or "shift-q" to start a race or qualify. And its possible to go midrace to the pits and join the track again.. I have seen this error in X10 and X12 with the dedicated server. Never try it with a listen server.

first one is clear: it doesnt affect EVERY "vote", just the option to kick/ban

second may no be that clear ingame, cause when you´re ingame in the pit screen, it shows you 2 options: join or spec. but if you remember earlier versions of LFS, it may become clear: in pit screen, there was just an "OK" button, so when you were in car & pressed shift s, what made you leave the track to pit screen, you could only move back on track and could move on to spec from there. so i would explain it this way: there are 2 different states: spectator or not-spectator. if you leave the track to pit screen (using shift-q these days), you are not yet in spectator-mode, and may still get back on. but once you´re in "real" spec, which means you can see the track without your car being on it, then you can´t re-join as long as midrace is set to no. jumping to the pit screen does not make you a spectator....

the option choose whether you want to join or spec hasnt always been in the pit screen.

correct me if i´m wrong. and i HOPE this makes it clear

• vote - ok, but in earlier time it was that this setting controll the qualify and restart vote too.. is here and alternative?
  
• midrace - in earlier version (i'm not 100% sure, but think to W) it wasn't possible to join the pits (spectator doesnt exists) and join the track again.. With the new System it is possible to jump to the pits or specator and go back to the track. but it should only be possible to leave the pits when you drive to your yellow place. It shouldn't not be possible to jump with shift-p to pits and go out and drive again with 0 laps ..

hmm ok maybe u found a bug, maybe this is something for the "improvement suggestions" section couldnt try it out myself right now, guess when you´re alone on a server, "/midrace no" doesnt really have an effect .

Of course not.. If you leave the race and you're the only one in the game, then there's no longer any race happening. If it stopped you from rejoining then the race would never finish if the race carried on... if you see what I'm saying?

don´t worry, i´m capable of logic thinking. still had o try ... acting logic is a bit different
