Hey guys, been searching for this info but i can't find nothing..
I'm planning on uprgading my PC (practically all new besides the case ) but i was wondering if i can save some extra money by keeping one of my 3 ATA HDD's...
I have 280 gb with 3 of them combined so i'm really pi**ed off that the new monopolistic motherboards doesn't seem to support ATA!
Anyway, i see that the motherboards that i'm planning to buy (Gigabyte P35-S3L and ASUS P5B SE) have one IDE controller.. but i'm not sure what that means, is that just one connector for the optical drive or there are two of them so i can attach an ATA HDD on it?
And is there some other way to attach it, some PCI convertor or something..?
Thanks ahead..
