Err hi again guys. Any of you guys have any samples or WAV files of gear whine of rally cars? You should know how it sounds like. To make it simple hope you guys can make it user-friendly in-game where I don't need to sort out the file myself because I'm rubbish at all these. I just wanted to load the file in the game sound editor. Thank you for your help...

Are you talking about shift+A editor?

It's not much different to any other race car's gear whine...

Thirdly... isn't the shift+A editor sound files supposed to be like under 0.05 secs short, meaning video recording is useless because it doesn't sound the same in the game anyway.

Hmm all right... I just wanted a rally car's gear whine because I wanna race faster with it. It's proven that realistic engine sounds can improve lap times.

You want like a 'dogbox' sound? Straight cut gears etc? They do sound good, can get annoying though..

Can't you just copy the XRR_default.eng file and rename it to XRT_race.eng or something? Instant gear whine.

Yup they get annoying but I use them for rallying in RallyX REV. Racing with that gear whine makes me faster.

Good idea later I'll try it out. But I still like the authentic gear whine from WRC rally cars.
