) Good driving by everyone else too, Although to be right fair, the reason I went off after the SC, was to let everyone thru / give Dan his spot back after the yellow flag incident. Lots of UKCT time though, 3 cars all at once.

one suggestion: in my feeling the ranking chart is to much to the center of the screen, i would say, put it more to one border (the left perhaps) so it doesn't disturb the watching so much

Just got one point: There was a lot of guessing whether Szabo pulled away or Pinnola just fell behind... Bringing back timing (it was in the first broadcasts, where has it been dropped?) would have solved that "mystery", and it would generally be interesting to see how fast those guys are...

If Tristan gets 15 words into a broadcast, I think it's considered a resounding success. I can't imagine going up against Becky in the commentary box Nice work, both of you.. and I agree with Stu et al, it really is good to hear the commentary team again!

Yes you'd actually have to read as far as the 2nd page of the thread in order to have the race spoiled for you. That's why I waited until the thread was into its 2nd page before posting about the race.
I've removed the info, anyway, but either you're really not thinking very hard, or you purposefully went about looking for a spoiler to complain about. I won't hazard a guess which of those possibles is the one.

Have to say guy's, i really really enjoyed that.
Loved all the fancy little camera tricks with the replays and so forth. The commentary team were great, you two work well together it's just as well Tristan was there to be honest, otherwise i get the feeling Becky would have talked for 30mins non stop without breathing. And i thought the interview with Sam was a great touch, really brought in the human element.
Obviously there are a couple of area's that could do with a bit of fine tuning. The two commentators talking over one another being the major point, but i'm not sure if there's a way to prevent that other than being in the same room together. And maybe a bit of tweaking to the sound to make it feel as though you're both trackside rather than sitting at home would add to the atmosphere.
But, all in all i thought it worked really well, the camera system made South City look fantastic and perhaps most importantly of all it's a great advertisement for LFS (aside from Dustins driving of course)

What I'd still like to see is more structured beginning of the broadcast, it feels like I've missed all the "before the race" stuff and the race is just about to start. I have a basic structure here which could be usable for this:
1) a proper introduction of yourselves and STCC.
2) tell what has happened since last race and were there any points taken away and was the finishing order changed because of steward decisions.
3) What race is it now, where is it and how many races there have already been. To save film, you could show the scenery at the background, helicopter views etc...
3.5) onboard lap around the track, guided by the technical commentator. To let the viewers see the track. Give information about passing and braking points, kinda like summing up what kind of track it is
4) show the championships points table and let the technical commentator give his opinion on it
4.5) speculate the race (tires, cars, etc.)
4.6) Commercial break. The commentators make it clear that the race follows right after the advert.
6) show the CTRA ad here, before the start

7) the aftermath, maybe show a podium, best lap times and points earned. Tell a bit about the next race.
Try to create a relaxed atmosphere before the race. After the "advert" you kinda could come back and start the race. It feels a bit like the race is going to start just in a second.
The interview with samh didn't imho work and it was a bit strange to see the interview while he was supposed to be sitting in the car. Maybe it would have worked better after the race, or without the video; using just the audio.

Like the driver interview, but i think the FPS needs to be better - i'm sure it was an effect, but imo it was unnecesary.
