I don't get it. You want to hotlap while racing? What do you mean when you say to start the timer next time you cross the finish line. We already have a lap timer which resets when you cross that line. And what do you mean when you say you don't have to do a full lap? How can you hotlap without doing a full lap? I'm really confused now.

Okay. Like you leave the pits and the timer will say like "23:21.85"

You can type in /hotlap to set it to zero, and it will start when you cross the finish line.

If you count your lap from exiting from pits you will get a pretty bad hotlap

Hotlaps must be submitted as SPRs, not MPRs, so they must be done offline.

I think he just wants to be able to reset the timer, I don't see the point though. Any lap coming out of the pits is Void anyway.
