Okay, I've now uploaded two skins both in the LX4 folder. Both show on the LFS World site, allowing me to view and delete them. However, when I enter the game and go to the pits to change my skin they aren't there.

I've tried creating a new colour and changing texture and still not there. I've basically tried everything I can think of and everything I have read on this forum.

Anyone got any clue why this is happening?

Drop the skin in LFS>Data>Skins and it should be there...

I think the catch lies in the phrase:

"Okay, I've now uploaded two skins both in the LX4 folder."

Cars don't have their own skin folder, all skins go in the dir Jakg mentioned - the game then separates skins based on the prefix of the filename, "LX4_skinname.jpg" in this case.

...and if your jpg file name does not start with LX4.....then it will not appear in the garage when you select the LX4 car and a skin for it.

Uploading a skin to LFW means only that other people can see your skin on your car, it has nothing to do with the skin being selectable in-game. To get your skin to appear in-game for you to select and use, follow the instructions above.
