Hello!

I just updatet some Textures in the dds and pic folder.

When I now start LFS again I had to create a new player... The name of me was shown but when I click on it LFS says that it could not be loaded...

What to do now? Are now all my Points, PBs, Splits on Servers away?

Perhaps I can recover my Player - File... but which one is it? Where to find it?

No. All these stats are bound to your license name/account, not the player you select ingame.

Hm, thank you... but how to recover all my settings?

I have found the file /data/misc/name.ply of my original Profile...

Also LFS shows this profile in the Player-Menue... But it can still not be loaded... why???

Which informations are stored with my playername? Only Name, Suit, Language etc. or all steering, view and graphic settings?

If you really only updated the player dds files, maybe you should revert them and try again? Just make a temporary second install of LFS somewhere and copy back the original files.

Well I stupidly have overwritten the original files...

But I entered my original Player Name in the cfg.txt and changed some steering settings... thats it... Now it works...
