Hello everyone,
I was ment to post this about 2 and a half decades ago, better late i guess.
So here is the big thing..
On Kyoto GP Reverse the pit exit comes straight onto the line of racing cars traveling at top speeds, not to mention it comes onto a crest which makes visibility harder.
So my big idea is, and i will use KY GP Reverse for the purpose of explanation, to move the exit of the pits to just after the slow turns in sector one.
This should make for an easy pit entry for the normal direction as well, and provide much less chance of having cars colliding with cars coming out of the pits in reverse direction.
I have no idea what your on about you say?
Thought you might say that, so i have provided a cleverly illustrated diagram to aid in my representation.
The yellow lines represent possible pit exits from the pits around to the left. as far as the normal direction is concerned it will also provide easy access to the pits on an in lap.
As for the reverse it will minimize collisions or possible blue flag situations on anyone exiting the pits. not to mention provide a good little run down to the last turn of the sector.
Any ideas?
Sorry if this has already been suggested, like i said, i was supposed to do it a while ago :P
