I'll start off with this, Why is it that when i check the battery on my phone it can say 10% and then 10 mins later it goes up to say 15%? Sometimes too if your battery dies and you turn it on after about 30 mins or whatever you have say 5% again for a while?

Dunno exactly why it happens, but batteries have a thing called "recuperation" wherein they regain a part of their charge after you've stopped using them. You can probably google to find out more.

It depends on how you hold the battery, which end the petrol is at.
