i just read that on our club's homepage, together with some other international teams there will be a new formula series called "superleague formula" they want to get at least 20 different soccer teams to sign in there and somehow get soccer and motorsport closer together. interesting thing: teams wont have to pay to race all is financed via sponsorship, also this racing series is aimed to be more "green" they will use biofuel and later want to do even more in this direction. i was surprised how our local swiss team even got in there but the car looks nice and i'm looking forward to beat some teams we would never have a slight chance of winning against on the soccer field ^^

Seen this before somewhere. Should be decent as long as they don't let any spolit Ferrari-driving footballers drive.

The whole Idea is a bit plastic, i wouldn't want to see your average football fan supporting F1. Because round here, if your team loses, you must beat people up that didn't/don't support your team.
